  2. this is a great …
this is a great video, I thank the surgeon for making and posting it. Very educational.

For those with hip pain, you may or may not need to replace the hip but you need to understand WHY the hip broke down in the first place. In most cases its because the hip was out of position for a prolonged period of time. Fix the position of the hip and function gets much better. And if you need surgery, youll get a much better functional outcome. Get the book Pain Free by Pete Egoscue. Good luck.

  4. I am 52 and I am …
I am 52 and I am going under for the third time. First partial hip ( avascular necrosis) my partial broke in me after nine years. The full hip lasted 18 months 8/07 and I am going back in tomorrow. I do not know why I am having so much pain and problems. The partial hip i think is the way to go if you can rather than full hip. I will find out tomorrow why or what happened to the last surgery. I am not looking forward to tomorrow.

My name is Steve. I won’t be going for this for a few months yet, but my surgeon seems like he has his poop in a group, so I am feeling good about it. He tells me knee surgery is worse than hip ( for both pain and physio) so I will let you know how it goes. Plus…. girls have a much higher tolerance for pain than boys, so things that would make me scream like, well, a little girl, might just tickle you!
